I prepared breakfast with my kids; we ate as a whole family, which rarely happens due to our busy school/ work schedules. Saturday was a good day for me to choose to disconnect since my kids were home, so no need to call or text to pick up from school, and I had to study for my medsurg exam. Later that evening, we had family visit, this lady who came from back home (Palestine) to seek medical help to her chronic authorities. She was a very sweet lady, who reminded me of my sisters that live far away. She was telling me about the daily struggles of having the disease. Then I had to use the computer to search for medical centers that she can go to get advice or therapy for her arthritis disease. It was not that hard to disconnect from technology that day since I had so many things to do, but I sure did not last for 24 hours!
