It was definitely very hard to disconnect especially because we have a test next week. It was really easy to disconnect from the television because I do not watch TV. I had to use my computer and the internet to study. It was harder to disconnect from my phone because I use it to watch Netflix while I am at the gym and use it to check social media to take a break from studying or use it to look up a recipe to make for lunch/dinner. I did disconnect for a couple hours here and there while I was looking over my notes and highlights in the textbook. This activity was difficult because we have a test that we need to study for. If we had to do this assignment at the beginning of the semester, like the first week of school, it would have easier to do.

It’s half life is increased in renal impairment. It is to be used cautiously in severe renal impairment because it increases the risk of ototoxicity. It is important to know what other drugs the patient that is taking furosemide is on, due to the increased risk of nephrotoxicity with certain drugs. It is important to monitor electrolytes, glucose levels, uric acid levels and renal function, as well as intake and output.
